Business Spotlight on Desiato's Deli in Henrietta

October 24, 2024

Near the busy corner of Jefferson Road and East Henrietta Road in Henrietta, there’s a wonderful sub shop called Desiato’s Deli. The original owner Mark Desiato opened the deli in 2008 and then handed it off to Megan Reilly and her father Kevin in February of 2021. Megan worked with Mark for six years before she took it over. They sell subs, wraps, breakfast sandwiches, homemade soups, and salads. What’s great is that their bread is freshly baked every day and it takes twelve hours to prepare. “The small family run restaurants are becoming rare,” Megan says. She loves that she can run Desiato’s Deli with her father. Their family has owned two restaurants in the past and Megan’s father has run kitchens for fifty years.

Megan loves where she's at in Henrietta. “Henrietta is a bustling town for blue collar workers and the locals are some of our most loyal and best customers. We’re in the best location for our kind of clientele, just close enough to their jobs and a lot less traffic than Jefferson Road during lunch hour,” Megan says. Desiato’s Deli has a crew of seven and four of Megan and Kevin’s crew members have been there over ten years. “We look forward to continue serving our loyal customers, the new faces, and fellow businesses we love to see,” Megan says.
