What does Ridge Road in Parma have to offer? I spent my Friday morning finding out.
First stop was Willowcreek Antique Store. I was greeted at the door by a little white friendly dog. She watched me browse the store the whole time I was there.
It was very crowded, but very charming in the antique store with narrow pathways throughout three small rooms. Sometimes there’s modern things sprinkled in antique stores, but this entire place was strictly antiques. Because I don’t really collect antiques, I browsed through rather quickly. As it is still summer out, the door was wide open where I entered and there was a wide open door in the back that I exited without buying anything.
Next stop was Abe’s Restaurant. It was in between breakfast and lunch so there were only a couple of people that were eating there. I ordered a Tuna Melt and French Fries at the counter and then sat at a table and waited to be served. I checked out the great view of a field and trees outside the back windows. The waitress brought me my food and I proceeded to eat everything that I was given. The tuna sandwich was very good.
My last stop on Ridge Road this morning was at Ridge Nickleback which is a recycling center. There were two girls working that helped me with my two big bags of bottles and cans. I received seven dollars for the two bags which pretty much was the cost of my lunch, so I broke even for the day.
