A wave of businesses open and close in Spencerport

Hollink Motorsports, the long running bike shop in Spencerport, closed this Spring. The owner, Bill Hollink, decided to retire after thirty-eight years in business. They are having an on-line auction starting on July 24th and it will last for three weeks. They will be selling accessories, signs, dealer manuals, fixtures, etc. Also closed is Hollywood Decorative Creations. Their last day was June 24th. The owner, Holly Pearson, has had a store since May of 2022 and had her store in Spencerport for exactly one year. The only gift shop left in Spencerport now is The Unique Shop. One more business to report that closed this Spring is Yaeger Treviso and Associates which is an accounting firm. They still have their business in Webster though. John Keele, who ran the Spencerport office, started his own accounting business in Greece called JK Services. In the Fall of 2023, Roberts Accounting of Spencerport moved to Gates which means that there is only two accounting firm left in Spencerport which is Jeffers and Birnie on Union Street and Krissy's Bookkeeping on Ridge Road.

A quick update on new businesses in Spencerport. Their doing renovations to a space in Village Woods Plaza by McDonalds. A new bakery is going to be opening up called C and C Bakery. They also have been doing renovations to the building on Ridge Road that used to be Sully’s Barbershop. Everything Aesthetics Med Spa moved in and is having their grand opening on June 28th at 5PM. El Sabor Ecuatoriano Bar and Restaurant also opened up recently on Ridge Road!
