The Union Street Coffee House and the Canal Side Paper
October 20, 2022
On the Spencerport Village Pear, you can find the Canal Side Paper. The Canal Side Paper is also in fourteen locations around the west side of Monroe County. The Canal Side Paper started one year ago and at the beginning, the only place you could find it was the Union Street Coffee House. Actually, during the first three months of being published, it was called the Union Street Coffee House Paper.
In the one-year anniversary October issue of the Canal Side Paper, there is a story about the Union Street Coffee House. Read it here:
(from the Canal Side Paper) The Union Street Coffee House has been in business for four and a half years. Phil Demkos is the owner. When Phil started the coffee shop, it was called Café Macchiato, but he changed it to the Union Street Coffee House two years ago. They have salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch and then they have a breakfast menu too. Of course, they have coffee and then they have all different kinds of drinks: lattes, frappes, and milkshakes and so much more. And last month, the Union Street Coffee House was voted in a Democrat and Chronicle contest as one of the top five best coffee houses in Rochester. Awesome!
