Businesses moving out and moving in at Parma Place

During the second half of last year, two businesses relocated from Parma Place Plaza. The Women’s Fitness Connection relocated to World Gym in Greece and Studio B Salon relocated to 110 Marina Drive. Suite16 14626. It’s not uncommon for a business to move or shut down in Spencerport though. Last year, on average, one business closed every month. What also normally happens to newly vacant spaces in Spencerport though, is that they become occupied with a new business fairly quickly. For instance, where Studio B was, JdesignsOTL is moving in, and where the Women’s Fitness Connection was, the Spencerport Family Apothecary is moving in. While it’s good that JdesignsOTL is moving in because it’s a brand new custom apparel shop, the pharmacy is an existing business that is relocating. This means that their space in Village Woods Plaza will be empty. Given the track record of the Spencerport business community though, this space should find a tenant within six months time even though it is a funky space.
